Favourable
macro- geographic location served as an incentive for the Municipality
of Matulji to take advantage of this plot and to valorise a
large portion of the plot in its area and to use it for business
purposes. In accordance with the regulations of the Republic
of Croatia, a procedure for adoption of the Detailed Arrangement
Plan was done with the official title Operating Zone R-1 in
Matulji. A decision on it was passed at the assembly of the
Municipality Council on 27 July 2000. The same decision identified
the borders of the Operating Zone R-1 and determined the basic
business activities that would be performed in that zone.
Available area of the zone is approximately 95,000 m2 and is
intended for the following activities:
